Milwaukee Police investigating after 4 people shot, 1 fatally in separate overnight incidents

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are currently investigating four separate shooting incidents that left three people injured and one person dead Friday night into early Saturday morning.

Milwaukee Police were first called to the 9600 block of Hampton Avenue around 9:15 p.m. Friday for a report of a shooting. According to police, a 33-year-old man was shot after words were exchanged with a suspect. The victim was seriously injured and is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital. Police say they are searching for a known suspect.

Police were then called to a shooting that happened around 11:20 p.m. outside of a business at 76th and Capitol. A 21-year-old man was shot while sitting inside of his car. Police believe it stemmed from an argument the victim had with a suspect while inside the business. The victim is being treated for what is believe to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a homicide that happened around 11:20 p.m. near 15th and North. According to police, two people were possibly arguing when the suspect shot the victim. The victim ran and collapsed down the block. The 33-year-old male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect fled the area on foot.

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a shooting that happened around 2:47 a.m. on Saturday near 42nd and Fairmount. A 41-year-old man was shot and taken to a local hospital by a friend. Police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between neighbors.

Milwaukee Police are still searching for the suspects involved in these four separate incidents.
