Milwaukee Police Investigate Two Separate Non-Fatal Shootings

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate non-fatal shootings that occurred yesterday, 9/3/16.

At about 7:00PM, officers responded to the area of 5500 N. 42nd Street for the report of a 26-year-old male that had been shot. Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim states that he was driving in the listed area when an unknown suspect pulled up beside him and fired several gunshots into his car. The victim was treated on scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and conveyed to a local hospital.  

At about 9:40pm a 27-year-old male arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators determined that the shooting occurred in the 2700 block of West Burleigh street. Victim states that two people were fighting when someone pulled out a gun and began shooting. The victim was struck by the gunfire. He is expected to survive his injuries.

Milwaukee Police are seeking suspects in both cases.
