Milwaukee Police Investigate Three Separate Non-Fatal Shootings

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a double non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 4200 W. Hampton Blvd, at about 7:45 p.m. last night. The initial investigation shows that the two victims were driving west on Hampton when in the 4200 block several gunshots were fired into their vehicle. Both the driver who was an 18-year-old female and a passenger who was a 17-year-old male sustained what is believed to be non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

A second non-fatal shooting occurred in the 3500 block of N. 36th Street. At about 10:40 p.m., a 31-year-old male victim reported being shot after leaving a house located in the above-mentioned area. The victim arrived at a local hospital by means that are still being investigated. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation as well.

Shots rang out again around 2 a.m. this morning. A non-fatal shooting occurred in the area of 500 W. Garfield. The victim exited a tavern and was sitting in his vehicle when he was confronted by the suspect. During the confrontation, gunshots were fired at the victim and he was shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. MPD continues to search for a suspect in that case.
