Milwaukee police investigate possible abduction after man seen putting young child in U-Haul

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a possible abduction that happened Saturday, May 27 near 39th and Meinecke. 

Officials say a suspect driving a U-Haul was seen approaching a young child, striking him and placing him inside the U-Haul. The suspect then drove west on Meinecke Avenue. 

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, 30-39 years old, and about 5'1"-5'2". He was wearing a beige baseball hat, beige shirt and beige shorts.

The victim was described as 10-year-old Black male.

Police are seeking the unknown child and the unknown suspect.
