Milwaukee police investigate non-fatal shooting of 22-year-old Milwaukee man

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Friday, Nov. 5, near Concordia and Vel. R. Phillips.

Police say the shooting occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. Friday.

Authorities report that the victim, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, suffered non-fatal gunshot wound to his left lower back, right shoulder and pelvis.

Emergency responders reportedly transported the victim to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Milwaukee police say they are seeking an unknown suspect in relation to this crime.

Officials add that the circumstances leading up to the shooting appear to be drug-related.
