UPDATE: Milwaukee police say a shooting in the 1400 block of W. Greenfield Avenue shortly before 2:00 Thursday morning injured two men. A traffic incident turned into a verbal altercation and the suspect(s) shot into the vehicle of the victims. Those victims, ages 20 and 24, were both struck. They drove themselves to a local hospital for treatment of, what is believed to be, non-life threatening injuries. The search for the suspect(s) continues.

Milwaukee police say two adult males walked into St. Luke's Hospital just before 3:00 Thursday morning with gunshot wounds. A lieutenant with District 2 says the shooting is believed to have taken place around 1:50 a.m. on Greenfield Avenue, somewhere between S. 9th and S. 14th Streets. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time. Police do not believe the men were shooting at one another.
