Milwaukee police investigate 4 non-fatal shootings in six-hour-period Sunday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating four non-fatal shootings that happened in a six-hour-period Sunday, Sept. 26, in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday at approximately 3 p.m. near 67th and Appleton.

Police say the victim, a 36-year-old female from Milwaukee, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials report that the victim was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

According to police, the circumstances surrounding the shooting appear to be argument related.

Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect at this time.

A second shooting is being investigated by Milwaukee police on Sunday.

Police report the shooting happened at approximately 7:26 PM near 39th and Hopkins.

Authorities say the victim, a 30-year-old male, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated on scene.

Milwaukee police add that the circumstances surrounding the shooting appear to be argument related.

Officials say a non-suspect is in custody at this time.

Milwaukee police are investigating a third shooting that occurred on Sunday around 7:34 p.m. near 11th and Scott.

Officials say the victim, a 41-year-old female from Milwaukee, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by the Milwaukee Fire Department.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation by Milwaukee police.

Police continue to seek an unknown suspect at this time.
