Milwaukee police investigate 3 overnight shooting incidents throughout the city

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police report that they are investigating three shootings that took place in the late night hours between Saturday, Aug. 27 and early morning Sunday, Aug. 28.

At approximately 10:27 p.m., near 44th and Center an 18-year old Milwaukee man suffered a single gunshot wound and presented himself to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition. The circumstances leading up the incident are still under investigation and suspects are being sought. 

At around 11:55 p.m., also near 44th and Center, a 40-year old Milwaukee man suffered two gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital by MFD personnel, where he remains in stable condition. The circumstances leading up the incident are still under investigation and suspects are being sought. 

Near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. and Highland Ave., a victim was shot at around 1:38 a.m. and then presented himself to a local hospital. Police are not presently reporting the age and condition of the victim. The circumstances leading up the incident are still under investigation and a suspect is in custody. Charges will be referred to the DA’s Office in the coming days.
