Milwaukee police investigate 2 non-fatal Saturday, July 16 shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that took place on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

At approximately 10:20 a.m., near 27th St. and Roosevelt Dr., a 34-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

At around 11:41 p.m., near 14th and Chambers Streets, a 35-year-old Milwaukee woman sustained non-fatal injuries after being struck by gunfire. She arrived to a local hospital and she is expected to survive.

In both of these incidents, the circumstances that led up to the shootings are still under investigation and Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
