Milwaukee Police are using a summertime treat to form relationships in the community.
Chief Ed Flynn pulled up to the Franklin Square playground in the police department's new ice cream truck.

MPD tells us this initiative hopes to highlight the important partnerships MPD has with local businesses, and highlight how officers can help build strong neighborhoods.
Pick n' Save donated a picnic lunch for the event, and Kemps provided the ice cream.
