MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's a dangerous job yet every year, new classes of recruits become Milwaukee police officers. CBS 58 was there for the latest graduation ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 28.
"Honestly I want to get out there every single day, meet as many people as I can, make the city a better place and hopefully everything kind of changes," said Dylan Banks, new Milwaukee police officer.
Dylan Banks was one of the 51 men and women who finished their training with a ceremony in front of enthusiastic family members at the Police Training Academy.
Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman and Mayor Cavalier Johnson welcomed them to their new jobs, thanked them for their willingness to serve, and Chief Norman added, "I will not tolerate anything less than excellence."
Congratulations to all.
