Milwaukee police arrest suspect in early morning shooting and stabbing

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police apprehended a 53-year-old man following a reported shooting and stabbing on Tuesday, March 12 that left a 37-year-old with injuries during an argument near 24th and Wells.

The altercation took place at around 4:30 a.m. and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Injuries sustained by the victim are not believed to be life-threatening, according to MPD.

As the investigation continues, criminal charges are set to be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
