Milwaukee Police are investigating two unrelated non-fatal shootings from Monday night
The first shooting happened around 10:40 PM in the area of N 29th and W Wells Streets when several known individuals got into a fight. During the fight, one of the individuals pulled a gun and fire several times. A 44-year-old man was struck by the gunfire. He was treated at the scene and then transported to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening wound.
The second shooting happened about ten minutes later in the area of N 30th and W Locust Streets. When the Milwaukee Police arrived, they found a 27-year-old man who said he was walking in the area when an unknown car approached him. The occupants of the car got out and while displaying a gun, robbed him. The victim did as asked but after taking his property, one of the suspects shot him.
The man was treated on the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and then taken to a local hospital for a non-life threatening wound. He is expected to survive his gunshot injury.
Milwaukee Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting and is seeking suspects in both incidents.
