MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that left a 7-year-old boy injured.
It happened shortly before 4 p.m. on Friday near 39th and Villard.
Police say that a woman fired a gun into a vehicle where a 7-year-old was hit.
The 7-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Milwaukee Police continue to search for suspects.
The investigation remains ongoing.
