Milwaukee Police: 26-year-old man shot, seriously injured near 36th and Villard

Milwaukee (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old man was shot and seriously injured Thursday afternoon.

The shooting happened shortly after 3 p.m. near 36th and Villard.

According to police, the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear at this time.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Police continue to search for the suspect and a motive.
