MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A fatal accident involving a motorcycle took place on Sunday, June 18 near 27th and Forest Home at around 4 p.m.

A report from the Milwaukee Police Department describes the scene where a scooter rider disregarded a red light while westbound on Forest Home Ave. before being struck by a motorcycle that was travelling south on 27th. The motorcyclist had a green light

The 38-year-old man riding a scooter was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 20-year-old driver of the motorcycle sustained non-fatal injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
