MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee mother is demanding justice after someone brutally attacked her son with a metal baseball bat.
It happened on April 22.
Millie Ransom says her 19-year-old son went to a party near 47th and Roosevelt with people he met on an app. She says the group suddenly ganged up on him and he was beaten with a bat.
Her son needed 20 staples and stitches in the back of his head and part of his spine is also broken.
"If he turns his head the wrong way, that's it. He has a lot of bumps and bruises. When he stands, he gets dizzy. He gets lightheaded. He's very disoriented right now. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him," said Ransom.
Milwaukee Police confirm they are investigating a substantial battery complaint.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Police are searching for the suspect.
