MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson cast his early ballot for the spring election at the Midtown Voting Center on Wednesday, March 25.
"It's quick, it's easy, it's painless. I encourage people to vote early," said Mayor Johnson. "Just get it done, get it out of the way."
Milwaukee has seven early voting locations across town. The early voting period runs through Sunday, April 5 -- two days before the Election Day.
"Democracy works when everybody is involved, when more people are involved. When the most people possible, who can legally vote are involved and that's exactly what I want to see in Milwaukee," said Johnson.
