Milwaukee Man Shot and Seriously Wounded Wednesday Night

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man is being treated today for what is termed a serious gunshot wound.   According to a report from the Milwaukee Police Department, the man was shot just after 9 PM in the area of N 45th Street and W Custer Avenue.  The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not clear at this time, but the man was treated at the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and then transported to a local hospital for treatment of the serious wound.  The Milwaukee Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting and is looking for a suspect.
