Milwaukee man seriously injured in shooting incident near 35th and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting on the city's North side. 

According to police, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man suffered serious gunshot injuries near N. 35th St. and W. Meinecke St. around 10:31 p.m., Wednesday night. 

Officials say the victim was transported a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
