Milwaukee man seriously injured after being stabbed by girlfriend

The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a substantial battery that happened Thursday afternoon.

The stabbing happened shortly after 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of N. 33rd Street.

According to police, a 58-year-old Milwaukee man was stabbed by the suspect and suffered a serious injury.

The suspect, a 39-year-old woman, who is in a relationship with the victim was arrested.

The case will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in the coming days.
