Milwaukee man injured in motorcycle collision with deer

A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was injured early this morning when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a deer in rural Dodge County. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred around 12:37 AM on US Highway 41, near State Highway 28 in the Township of Theresa. According to the report, the man suffered serious injuries and was flown by Flight for Life to the Summit Hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office said the man was south bound on Hwy 41 when the accident occurred. The operator of the motorcycle did not have a valid motorcycle endorsement and was not wearing a helmet, according to the Sheriff’s report.
The Sheriff’s Office is withholding the identity of the Milwaukee man until Tuesday.
