Milwaukee man critically injured in crash near 35th and Nash
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a serious crash that took place early Christmas morning near 35th and Nash.
Authorities say around 1:40 a.m., a driver lost control of his vehicle when it crossed the centerline and collided with another vehicle in oncoming traffic.
Police say the driver of the vehicle that was struck fled the scene on foot. A passenger in the vehicle, a 29-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious, but non-fatal injuries.
The driver of the striking vehicle, a 26-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Milwaukee police continue to seek the unknown driver of the vehicle that was struck.
