Milwaukee Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting a Child

A Milwaukee man is charged with second degree sexual assault of a child after the child had an abortion.

According to the criminal complaint, the mother noticed her 13-year-old daughter was gaining weight and had her take a pregnancy test.

Due to how far along the girl was the two of them traveled to Colorado for an abortion.

Tissue from the abortion was recovered and sent to the crime lab for a DNA test.

According to the criminal complaint, DNA matched the 54-year-old man.

The girl told police that sometime in 2015, when she was 12-years-old,  the man sexually assaulted her at her home.
