Milwaukee man charged in death of 60-year-old assaulted in Wilson Park

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man has been charged with murder after a fight turned deadly in a county park on Sunday.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office reports 60-year-old Elias Gonzalez was assaulted in Wilson Park and taken to the hospital where he later died.

Forty-seven-year-old Celio "Chilo" Velasco Gonzalez has been charged with second degree reckless homicide in connection to his death.

The sheriff's office confirms the two men knew each other socially but it's unclear what led up to the fight.
