MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- About 100 Milwaukee Public Schools seniors completed the M³ Collection Connections program on Wednesday, June 10, earning more than 2,000 college credits at no cost.

That reportedly saves participants around $633,000 in tuition.

The program is a partnership between MPS, Milwaukee Area Technical College and UW-Milwaukee that allows high school students to earn college credits for free. More than 900 students have gone through the program since it launched in 2019.

"This has been a great program ... for learning how to talk to new people, how to network, just getting great connections with students and teachers," said graduate Kaliel Godinez. "It's just been a great program overall and I just love it."

"I love everyone that I've met, and they've all had a huge impact on me. Everyone was nice, everyone was super helpful," said graduate Emerald Joiner.
