Milwaukee Health Department offers measles vaccine

The City of Milwaukee Health Department is opening the Southside Health Center and Keenan Health Center to provide Milwaukee citizens with access to the school-required Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine.

The Southside Health Center, 1639 S. 23rd St., will be open Saturday, February 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Keenan Health Center, 3200 N. 36th St.,  will be open Saturday February 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Milwaukee Health Department points out Wisconsin law requires children be immunized against the mumps, measles and pertusis in order to attend public school.

The Milwaukee Health Department offers regular immunization clinic hours at the following days and locations:

Mondays Southside Health Center (1639 S. 23rd St.) 3-6 p.m.

Tuesdays Southside Health Center (1639 S. 23rd St.) 1-4 p.m.

Wednesdays Northwest Health Center (7630 W. Mill Rd.) 3-6 p.m.

Fridays Keenan Health Center (3200 N. 36th St.) 8-11 a.m.
