WisDOT joins CBS 58 with updates on road projects
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy is dead and three teens were transported to a hospital following a car accident near 20th and Auer on Saturday, Aug. 28.
The other three occupants were between the ages of 15 and 17 and are all in critical condition.
Milwaukee police say the accident happened at 3:35 p.m.
Police say the circumstances leading up to the accident appear to be the result of reckless driving. According to officials, the single-vehicle accident happened when the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a tree. Two of the occupants were ejected.
Milwaukee police are seeking two additional occupants that fled the scene.
