Milwaukee Fire Chief Speaks on Victim of West Wells Street Shooting

Tonie Phillips died on Saturday around 7:45 PM in the 2700 block of West Wells Street.
The victim, a 47-year-old female from Milwaukee suffered what was initially believed to be non-survivable gun shot wounds.
However, life saving measures were performed on scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital for serious injures.
A second victim, a 30-year-old Milwaukee man transported himself to a local hospital with minor injuries.
