Dry start to the new work week before rain and snow chances return
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Winter parking regulations in the City of Milwaukee have been extended until March 15.
Milwaukee has seen its snowiest winter since the winter of 2013-2014.
The extension of winter parking rules is due to narrower streets impacted by snow and ice on the curb. The Department of Public Works hopes the extension will make streets open and passable through the first half of March.
Winter parking regulations only affect those streets with "No Parking Dec 1- Mar 1" signs or those with parking restricted to one side of the street.
Anyone who doesn't follow the parking regulations could receive a $35 ticket or get towed.
