Sheriff, deputies deliver 200 Thanksgiving meals to Milwaukee's House of Peace

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff Earnell Lucas and his deputies were out delivering food Friday, Nov. 20. 

They dropped off 200 Thanksgiving meal baskets at the House of Peace in Milwaukee, with the help of the Retired Deputy Sheriff's Association and Metcalfe's Market. 

"This is just another way that the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the House of Peace, is gonna play a little role in making somebody's holiday just a little bit better," Sheriff Lucas said. 

Along with the turkey dinners, the sheriff's team dropped off books for kids and PPE from Mask Up MKE.
