Milwaukee County medical examiner ID's mother, daughter killed in south side fire

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the names of the mother and daughter killed in a south side fire.
The fire happened Wednesday, April 12 near 19th and Burnham Streets.
The ME's report says 27-year-old Maria Castillo Cortez and her 1-year-old daughter, tentatively identified as Maria Chavez Castillo, were in an upstairs unit when the fire started.
Investigators believe the fire may have been sparked by a charcoal grill on a back porch.
The fire spread to three other homes.
The ME's office was able to identify the 27-year-old victim via fingerprints.
