Milwaukee County deputy's squad struck in hit-and-run on city's north side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy is recovering Monday after an early morning crash.

According to the sheriff's office, the deputy was in a squad car that was hit by another car at Fond du Lac and Baldwin on Milwaukee's north side.

The car was coming out of a tavern parking lot and after hitting the passenger side of the squad, the driver drove away.

The deputy's injuries are described as minor.

The car, described as a black Cadillac sedan, has not yet been found.
