Milwaukee Community Sailing Center to host free water safety expo

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Community Sailing Center is set to host a complimentary water safety expo on Sunday, May 21.

Scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m., the event aims to bring together community partners specializing in boating and water safety.

Attendees can anticipate learning about waterway rules and emergency procedures. Representatives will provide one-on-one interactions, and several informative demonstrations and seminars are on the agenda.

The expo will feature the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center, Milwaukee Beach Ambassadors, Milwaukee Water Commons, Milwaukee Riverkeeper, Milwaukee Dive and Rescue Team and US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The venue is located at the end of Lagoon Drive in Veterans Park.
