MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Monday, Feb. 23, is Fred Usinger Day, and our hometown is celebrating in a quintessential Milwaukee way.
Old German Beer Hall is giving away FREE brats!
This marks the 19th year of free sausages, but that's not the only perk! There's also free beer, along with live music.
"It's a shame it's just once a year," said Mike Schaltry, customer. "It's just very Milwaukee. That's why I love it. You can't get any more Milwaukee than this. Coming and having a brat and a beer on a sunny Monday afternoon, it's perfect."
Old German Beer Hall is serving them up until 8 p.m. Monday night, while supplies last.
