Milwaukee Bucks and Sargento Foods contribute $40K to Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In the fourth consecutive season of the "Tipoff for Homes" program, the Milwaukee Bucks and Sargento Foods have partnered to support Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.

Every time the Bucks won a tipoff to start a game during the 2022-23 regular season triggered a $500 donation from Sargento to the humanitarian organization.

The Bucks won 30 tipoffs throughout the most recent regular season, equating to a $15,000 donation. An additional $25,000 donation from Sargento rounded out the total to $40,000.

Peter Feigin, Bucks and Fiserv Forum President expressed pride in the ongoing partnership with Sargento and its role in supporting the local community in a Friday, June 16 press release. "It’s important to us to give back to the community and have a positive impact for years to come."

"Tipoff for Homes" has helped bolster affordable housing in Milwaukee, with Sargento contributing $151,000 over four seasons. Details on the initiative and the tally of tipoff wins can be found by clicking here.
