MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee artist Rosy Petri, in collaboration with co-authors Lauren Schiller and Hadley Dynak, will celebrate the release of "It's a Good Day to Change the World: Inspiration and Advice for a Feminist Future" with a series of events on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31.
Petri, Schiller and Dynak all joined us on Wednesday, March 29 to discuss the book.
On Thursday, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., the three will lead a free talk at Boswell Book Company. Registration is available online.
Friday's events at the MARN ART + CULTURE HUB include a block printing workshop from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., a happy hour fundraiser from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and a publication conversation with the authors from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will support the MARN mentorship program.
The book is described as featuring firsthand narratives and vibrant illustrations from activists, authors, artists, entrepreneurs and visionaries.
