Michael Morgan Sentenced to 71 Years for Killing Two Children

A Milwaukee man was sentenced on Thursday for killing two children in arson fire Michael Morgan sentenced to 71 yrs in prison.

An arson fire occurred in October of 2015.

10-year-old Kevin Little and his two-year-old cousin Tae'najah Morgan both died in the hospital days after the fire.

On way out of courtroom he sang, "I'm still happy."

A fight nearly broke out in the courtroom and more than a dozen people were removed on Thursday just before sentencing.

Michael Morgan was found guilty on all counts except one. 

Morgan was charged with killing two children in a house fire, a blaze prosecutors say Morgan deliberately set. 

10-year-old Kevin Little and his two-year-old cousin Tae'najah Morgan both died in the hospital days after the fire.

The fire happened 8 days before Kevin Little's mother, Areiel Rice would show up in court for domestic violence charges against her then-husband Michael Morgan.

Morgan was found guilty of battery, disorderly conduct, three counts of bail jumping, arson and  two counts of first degree reckless homicide.

He was found not guilty to criminal damage to property.
