MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As Mexican Fiesta approaches, officials released an updated list of COVID-19 rules which includes requiring masks indoors.
The announcement came on Friday, Aug. 13.
Officials say Mexican Fiesta will not require proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test for entry into the festival.
There will be vaccination clinics at Mexican Fiesta all three days.
In order to avoid large gatherings, officials have expanded the use of the Summerfest grounds. In addition to Mid Gate, South Gate will also be used as both an entrance and exit to disperse crowds and shorten lines.
Officials say the price of pre-sale tickets have been reduced to encourage guests to purchase their tickets before arriving at the gates. Pre-sale tickets are priced at $16 and at the gates will be $20.
Officials say facemasks will be available to the public until supplies last.
Mexican Fiesta is Aug. 27 through Aug. 29. They will be hosting a vaccination clinic Tuesday, Aug. 17 at their office.
