Mexican Fiesta 2022: Celebrate Aug. 26-28 at Henry Maier Festival Park

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The largest Mexican Hispanic festival in the Midwest returns. Mexican Fiesta will be back at Henry Maier Festival Park Aug. 26-28. 

Celebrate three days of fun, food Mariachi, and Fiesta all three days from noon to midnight. 

According to a news release, Mexican Fiesta encourages individuals from all ethnic backgrounds to share the beauty of the Latin Countries' history, art, music, and food. The (most visited) Cultural Pavilion will display an extraordinary show and exhibition of the Mexican arts & crafts from more than 150 artisans coming directly from different states of México. Enjoy traditional freshly baked bread "Pan de Feria," made by master bakers directly from México. The Genealogy booth that will feature Race, Ethnicity, Nationality, Mexican Coins, and the Aztec Calendar. As well as Mexican Inventors Dr. Atl Artist and Guillermo Gonzales Camarena, Color TV Adaptor exhibits, and much more.

Plenty of activities will be hosted during the fiesta including a soccer tournament, contest, midway rides, children's play area, commercial expo, fiesta bars, and more. 

The opening ceremony for the fiesta takes place Friday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. at the Cultural Pavilion.
