MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- No one knows yet whether the class of 2020 will have a graduation ceremony at Menomonee Falls High School, but on Friday, the seniors did get to pick up their caps and gowns.
The school set up a drive-thru pickup area, where the students could safely collect their graduation gear and even say hello to some of the staff members they haven't seen in weeks.
"It still was something that would allow them to, you know, see us, see the administrators and just try to come in and celebrate something for them," said Lisa Kiefer, teacher and senior class advisor.
"Putting on that cap and gown symbolizes me finishing my high school career, and not getting that feeling, I think will be the most heartbreaking thing in my life," said senior Martine Knabe.
Seniors were also given yard signs to show off their accomplishments.
No decision has been made yet about a graduation ceremony.
