Melting Pot previews Bavarian Beer Cheese Fondue in celebration of Oktoberfest

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "Guten Tag!" Oktoberfest celebrations are taking a cheesy turn this year with the introduction of a special fondue.

Desiree Stypinski of Melting Pot joined us on Thursday, Sept. 28 to discuss a special menu to mark Oktoberfest, featuring Bavarian Beer Cheese Fondue.

The menu, available every Monday through Thursday until Oct. 26, consists of three courses: cheese fondue, salad and chocolate fondue. Guests also have the option of premium dippers such as bratwurst and braised short rib.

The Bavarian Beer Cheese Fondue includes ingredients such as Octoberfest Beer, Kindred Creamery Cheddar and Emmenthaier Parmesan. For those interested in drinks, the menu also features German-inspired cocktails.
