True improvisers at heart, each member of the Meisel Music Collective strives to tear down the walls of musical classification. Trained in jazz and classical tradition, Ryan Meisel’s soulful arrangements and saxophone solos are at the core of the quintet. Celia Faye’s powerful vocal musings augment the group’s sound, while bassist James Galasinski, pianist Anna Brinck, and drummer Jake Polancich fill in the pieces to bring together multiple styles of jazz history.
