MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summertime fun might mean welcoming a new friend to the household!
Kathy Shillinglaw from the Wisconsin Humane Society joined us on Tuesday, June 18 to introduce Milwaukee to CBS 58's Pet of the Week: Gary, who can be visited at the WHS Milwaukee campus. He's looking for a forever home.
Also, with the summertime fun comes summertime heat, so Shillinglaw also provided some reminders about properly ensuring your pet's safety as the heat intensifies. As she noted, heat stroke prevention is so much more effective than recovery.
More information can be found by visiting the Wisconsin Humane Society online.
