Medical Examiner investigating death of 18-month-old girl in West Allis

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner is currently investigating the death of an 18-month-old girl in West Allis.

West Allis Police received a report of an unresponsive child around 1:12 p.m. Saturday near 88th and Maple in West Allis.  When Police arrived they found the child to be deceased.  Detectives form the West Allis Police Department are investigating the  death.

The Medical Examiner's Office says at this time, there is no indication of how the child died.  An autopsy will be performed in the coming days.
