Medical Examiner Called to the Scene of 3rd and Keefe for a Shooting

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred in the 3600 block of North 3rd Street on Saturday at approximately 6:00 PM.

The initial investigation reveals that both victims were sitting on the porch of a home when a suspect opened fire on the subjects. A 22-year-old man received a non-fatal gunshot wound. He was conveyed to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

The second victim, a 32-year-old man received a fatal gunshot wound. The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted life saving measures, but were unable to resuscitate the victim who died on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and police continue to search for suspects.
