MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In honor of Father's Day, the Mecca Bar is grilling up some of dad's favorites.
A 'Dad Menu' will be served Sunday, featuring a special burger. The Mecca has only been open for six weeks and they're excited to share a special menu for the holiday.
CBS 58 spoke with the executive chef. He had his tips for dads staying home at their grill this weekend.
"One of the...I wouldn't say rookie mistakes, but something that I learned over the years, is to avoid high heat if you're working on propane or a gas grill. Charcoal grill, start, you know avoid just mounting the charcoal up from getting really, really hot," says Matt Kerley, Executive Chef at The Mecca Sports Bar and Grill.
Kerley says an even distribution of heat is what you want. Also on tap Sunday at the Mecca is the U.S. Women's World Cup watch party.
