MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee father is appealing to the public for answers after a double shooting claims the life of his son and his son’s fiancé.

Milwaukee Police say a 31-year-old man and his 27-year-old fiancé were found shot dead inside the back of a GMC Yukon near 5th and Randolph.

Family says it happened right outside the man’s mother’s house. According to investigators, it happened at 1:15 a.m. Monday. The father of the man, Tyrone Joiner, says his son Brandon Joiner was one of the two people killed.

Joiner says his son was already a father of two boys and he and his fiancé were trying to get pregnant again. He says this is a devastating loss for their family, especially his sons. He just wants answers on how this could have happened.

"They do know, this morning, that there dad is not with us and they are taking it pretty hard. I don't know what it is but I want to find out. What really happened? Who could just kill two people?” Tyrone Joiner said. "People need to speak up, because there are too many murders going on and ain't nobody saying nothing. Everybody wants to be quiet, but everybody wants to try and fix the community, but how can, but how can you fix it if you don't know nothing."

Two different vehicles were towed as part of the investigation, including the GMC Yukon the couple was found inside. The shootings are still under investigation and police are looking for a suspect(s) and the circumstances that led up to the shootings.
