MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- MCTS is making it a little easier for people in wheelchairs to get on and off a bus.
The new technology simplifies the process to get on the bus and lets riders secure themselves on the bus.
The old way took about 2 to 3 minutes to secure a chair. Now, it can be done in a matter of seconds.
"I thought it was excellent. I liked that my chair didn't wobble and I was able to be in control of locking myself down," said MCTS rider Dawn Green.
Right now, the new system is only available on one bus but the hope is to expand it to more buses in the future.
