MCTS, Miller Lite offering free bus rides on St. Patrick's Day

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Get a safe and free ride home on St. Patrick's Day from the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS), thanks to Miller Lite. 

According to a news release from MCTS, the St. Patrick's Day Free Rides is the first event in the 2023 annual Free Rides program. 

Folks can get a free ride on MCTS buses beginning at 6 p.m. March 17, until the end of regular service. 

"Milwaukee has a rich Irish heritage that we continue to celebrate on St. Patrick’s Day,” said Alison Hanrahan, community affairs manager, Molson Coors. “However you plan to celebrate this year, rest assured knowing that our Miller Lite Free Rides program is a convenient, safe and reliable way to get home.”
